The 140: "Tiny Houses book release party last night. http://tinyurl.com/d8levc Mimi
name checked our 550 sf Terroir Book Court: http://www.bookcourt.org"

Mimi killed it. Great, compact book about great compact living arrangements.
THE Junot Diaz interview (so far):

"10 yrs ago I would have never had a chair like that. I always bought a spine mangler."

"You’ve said that Oscar Wao wasn’t your only novel since Drown, it was just the only one that was any good. What was wrong with the other ones?

JD: Set a person on fire, throw them off the Empire State Building, then have them run over by a train. To give a triage of what’s wrong with those books, we don’t have enough time."

Among Twitter accounts I would follow: Groucho Marx, Wittgenstein, Nietzsche, Quentin Crisp, Picasso, Jonathan Richman, Albert Ellis, Marinetti...

Crayon

Crayon, Secret Goldfish. Streaming, no MP3 link around. The vinyl ep is one reason I keep that rotting old turntable and some Groove Glide in the studio.

The song is only 2:45, but it loops so you can listen to it for a full 8 hour session if necessary.

Here's a Crayon MySpace link for more.
